Based in Las Vegas, Nevada, TheBuzzinBox (pronounced: The Buzzing Box) was founded in 2008 by entrepreneur, Carlos A. Pittman. Originally created to be an entertainment magazine, the name was inspired by the Rolling Stone magazine. As the concept of TheBuzzinBox evolved over the years, Carlos decided to convert TheBuzzinBox to a music entertainment platform that featured new music, videos, and emerging music artists.

In 2015 with the assistance of his best friend and business partner, Eric “KoolKard” Hawkins, the two of them teamed to launch the site. They created daily music content as well as collaborated on a weekly livestream Periscope show that featured the music of 3 emerging music artists from Hip Hop, R&B, Pop, and Alternative music.  In September 2015,  after gaining notoriety with the site, TheBuzzinBox was invited to cover the 3-day Life is Beautiful Music Festival in downtown Las Vegas with all access to every featured artist such as: Stevie Wonder, Imagine Dragons, Snoop Dogg, Chance The Rapper, and Kendrick Lamar. During the 3-day music festival, Carlos and Eric were able to capture up-close footage from performances by several headlining artists and conduct an exclusive interview with Grammy Award winning pop sensation, Alessia Cara. 

Fast forward to 2020, TheBuzzinBox is back with a new and improved website design that exclusively showcases R&B, Soul, Hip Hop, and Pop music and video content with less written text. Carlos’s motto is, “More music, less text.” His vision is for music fans to have a unique visual experience listening to music and watching videos. Carlos believes music is the universal language that speaks to the soul and TheBuzzinBox is the escape for it!
